Accepted Answer

Yes. Haus Marit has four separate bedrooms and room for up to seven guests across 140 m² (Sylt measurement). For four golfers that means a bedroom each and plenty of space for evenings together. The bedrooms are spread across the lower ground floor, upper floor and attic floor.

Which golf courses can we visit from Westerland?

Marine Golf Club Sylt, Golf Club Sylt and Golf Club Budersand are among the island's golf courses. Haus Marit in Westerland is your shared base. Tee times, green fees and playing requirements are arranged directly with each club; they are not part of the accommodation booking.

Does the house have its own sauna and fireplace?

Yes. A sauna for your exclusive use is on the lower ground floor. The open living area has a fireplace. The house also offers an open kitchen, two bathrooms, a guest WC and a garden with terrace.

Fineline Sylt's description states about 650 metres to the sandy beach; the distance overview lists 0.6 km. So you can expect a short walk to Westerland beach.

The Stroke Play League (SPL) is an app-based golf league for amateurs across Germany. Players play official, handicap-qualifying 18-hole rounds at any golf course: the app records gross scores, rates them against the course rating and places them in separate women's and men's rankings. It includes individual leagues A and B, the Team League with teams of four, the Winter Round and freely playable match play that can be followed live in the app. The app is free on the Play Store and App Store; the Season Pass costs a one-off 25 € for the whole season. For your stay on Sylt, the league is a framework for your rounds – whether a round on a Sylt course counts depends on whether it is played as a handicap-qualifying competition.
